You are scuba diving on the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. So, with over 500 species of fish, 350 species of mollusks, and 65 species of hard coral what’s not to like? In fact, whale sharks are so prevalent here, that adjacent to Utila Lodge Resort is where the Whale Shark & Oceanic Research Center is located as well as the Bay Island College of Diving. There are 48 official dive sites located around Utila. The resort offers 17 dives, including 1 night dive, in 7 days.
