Arawak Bay Inn is located on the north shore of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. This scuba diving B&B inn has 14 spacious guest rooms with either a king bed or 2 full size beds. Each room has free WIFI, satellite TV, AC, desk, and private bathroom. This particular inn at Salt River was built in 2007 and is located up the hill. From the shared balcony, you can see below to the Salt River Bay, the Caribbean Sea, and possibly ST. Thomas, and Tortola Islands. They have a telescope to help you see all of this. Arawak Bay Inn Diving

Cane Bay Dive Shop is their scuba diving partner. They are just 5-7 minutes' away at Cane Bay Beach. They sell and rent dive gear, teach referrals, open water, advanced diverse, and many scuba diving specialties. The have a 36ft long Newton custom dive boat. They also use 6 diver- 20ft long pontoon boats. If you are into diving at sunrise or at full moon, they will do their best to make it happen. Their boats are just a 3 minute walk down the hill from Arawak Bay Inn to their mooring sites at Salt Bay Marina. Now, there are many dive sites that you could dive from shore, but two you have to try from shore are the Cane Bay Wall, which starts at 40ft to 3,200ft deep. So, the other shore dive is the Frederiksted Pier which is covered with corals, sponges, seahorses, butterfly fish, and lobster. So, for boat dives, there's, NorthStar, Rust Op Twist, Captain Morgan wall dive, Sea Mount, Davis Bay, Twin Palms, and Pavilions. The Wrecks At Butler Bay feature five separate wrecks and has something for everyone while staying at Arawak Bay Inn. There are almost 60 dive sites around the island and Gentle Winds and Love Shack seem to be a more popular dive sites than Swirling Reef of Death.

Attractions and Activities

So, Arawak Bay Inn has a complimentary breakfast, a secluded pool, and a pool bar that runs on the self-service honor system. It's 5 minutes to Salt River National Park. So, you can visit Fort Frederik Museum, tour downtown Christiansted and the 1734 Dutch fort. Moreover, you can go glass bottom kayaking or snorkel Buck Island Reef. You can also spend some time traveling around the island and checking out local eateries. It's very quiet at the inn, perhaps too quiet for some, but just perfect for others; including the resident cat.
